March 31st
Our last show for March.

Ch. Engleforest Jarrah was awarded Best of Breed Australian Kelpie and Watersedge Maranoa Reserve Challenge Bitch.

At his first show for 2012 Ch. Herding Instinct's Herra Watersedge (Imp SWE) (Markku) was awarded Reserve Challenge Dog and Ch. Watersedge Enchanted Destiny (Raiven) Reserve Challenge Bitch.

March 26th
Another birthday today for Ch. Fidelis Haltiatar's other litter! Quite extraordinary that they were born almost exactly to the day of her first litter.

Happy 1st Birthday to Watersedge Undercover Girl (Rihanna), campaigned by Janoby Kennels in Victoria, Watersedge Ur Under Arrest (Kovu) owned by Toujour Kennels in New South Wales and to my own little teddy bear boy Watersedge Under SouthernCross (Sven). This litter was sired by Ch. Herding Instinct's Herra Watersedge (Imp SWE) (Markku).

March 25th
Happy 7th Birthday to my very first litter of Finnish Lapphunds.

Born to FIN/LTU Ch. Fidelis Alias Amicus (Otso) and Ch. Fidelis Haltiatar (Imp FIN) (Taru), this litter has been a dream litter with all but one obtaining their Australian Champion Title.

Happy Birthday to my big teddy bear boy Grand. Ch. Watersedge Alias Aleksi (IID FIN) (Aleksi) and his equally teddy bear like sisters Ch. Watersedge Tru Colours (IID FIN) (Katja), Ch. Watersedge Tru Destiny (IID FIN) HT (Jaana), Ch. Watersedge Tru Diamond (IID FIN) (Sylvi), Ch. Watersedge Tru Calling (IID FIN) (Enya) owned by Theldaroy Kennels in Queensland and Watersedge Tru Magic (IID FIN) (Zana) owned by Findol Kennels in Western Australia.

March 18th
Another local show today at Wingham.

Again Watersedge Maranoa (Marnie) was awarded Best of Breed Australian Kelpie over her father Engleforest Jarrah (Jarrah).

Watersedge Ur Under Arrest (Kovu) managed to pull out the Best of Breed Finnish Lapphund over his brothers Grand Ch. Watersedge Alias Aleksi (IID FIN) (Aleksi), awarded Runner Up Best of Breed, and Watersedgde Under SouthernCross (Sven).

Bitch Challenge was awarded to Ch. Watersedge Enchanted Destiny (Raiven) over Ch. Watersedge Sno White (Miia).

The day did not stop there with Kovu awarded Puppy in Group at his very last show in the Puppy Class!   This makes 3 out of 3 class awards for the young boys from the last 3 local shows!

On speaking to the judge after the show he was reminiscing regarding awarding a Finnish Lapphund Reserve Exhibit in Show. This was Grand Ch. Theldaroy Wild Not Me (Laani) and as she had tagged along to the show for the day I was able to produce her for the judge to give her the once over. Laani is now over 10 years old and she was awarded the Reserve in Show when she was not quite 9 months old!                                                

March 14th
Also celebrating a birthday this month is Ch. Theldaroy Best Example (Minka). Minka is a full sister to Grand Ch. Theldaroy Wild Not Me (Laani) and Ch. Theldaroy Wild Wild Ways (Chey). Minka is from the second litter bred at Theldaroy.

March 10th
Our second show for the year and first time at the new local Wallamba Show.

This time Watersedge Maranoa (Marnie) was awarded the Best of Breed Australian Kelpie with her father Ch. Engleforest Jarrah (Jarrah) Runner Up Best of Breed.

Grand Ch. Watersedge Alias Aleksi (IID FIN) (Aleksi) again was awarded Best of Breed Finnish Lapphund with Ch. Watersedge Sno Lily (Lylli) Runner Up Best of Breed.

Not to be outdone, Watersedge Under SouthernCross (Sven) at his first ever show was awarded Junior in Group!

March 9th
Celebrations today for Ch. Watersedge Star Dust's (Dusty) birthday.

Dusty turns 14 today and it is a bit of a sad occasion as well as it is the first time that Dusty has not had her sister Ch. Watersedge Sweet Melody (Melody) to share the day. Melody went to sleep last month having battled a rather aggressive form of cancer.

Dusty is from the 3rd litter of Australian Kelpies to grace Watersedge.

March 3rd
The show season is finally underway for Watersedge.

It is the first time showing at the Hillsborough Show Grounds in NSW and our first show since September 2011.

Ch. Engleforest Jarrah (Jarrah) was awarded Best of Breed Australian Kelpie with his daughter Watersedge Maranoa (Marnie) Runner Up Best of Breed.

Grand Ch. Watersedge Alias Aleksi (IID FIN) (Aleksi) was awarded Best of Breed Finnish Lapphund at his first show in a very long time! Watersedge Ur Under Arrest (Kovu) Aleksi's little brother was awarded Reserve Challenge.
