Chey was an unexpected present who arrived at Watersedge in January 2006. She is Laani’s litter sister and has proved to be a priceless addition.

Chey is smaller in stature – another of the “good things in small packages” scenarios. Being a Domino sable Finnish Lapphund like her sister Minka, she is mainly cream in colour with a darker guard coat which looks like a veil of silver. Her pants and tail are like cream clouds.

She has the softest temperament of all of my Lapphunds. Everyone who sees her comments on how gorgeous she is – conformation and disposition. She is so precious and adorable and so different.

Chey was campaigned in NSW to her Australian Champion title by Gerard and Sue Burnside of Miavig Kennels. She is not overly fond of the show ring, but is seen out on special occasions.

Her major contribution to the breed in Australiais the first litter of cream puppies in Australia that was bestowed on Watersedge in June 2006.
